OUR SENIOR TEAM

CARL WRIGHT

Carl brings 20+ years of engineering experience, with the majority of those years having been spent working on mass transit systems. He specializes in international transit rail transit and has a genuine passion for helping municipal governments, transit agencies, and transport companies solve urgent problems so they can confidently return to operation.

 

Carl has designed, planned and integrated both greenfield and brownfield transit projects in Canada, Australia, Japan, and the US— all of which have contributed to his in-depth knowledge of transit engineering principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment.

 

A key perspective Carl brings to all projects is an understanding and appreciation of the importance of integrating Operations and Maintenance principles for long term efficient operations.

KONRAD WORONOWICZ

Konrad is a seasoned engineer who specializes in power electronics and transportation systems. He brings a wealth of technical knowledge to TSR Engineering, as well as keen analytical skills. He is a senior member of IEEE, SAE and PEO (Professional Engineers Ontario) and a member of the Maglev International Steering Committee and Linear Induction Motor IEC Standard— all of which demonstrate his commitment to excellence within his field.

 

Some of Konrad’s most notable civil transit projects include the Vancouver SkyTrain, the New York JFK AirTrain, the Beijing Subway, the Riyadh Metro, the Ankara Metro, as well as Las Vegas and Sao Paulo Monorails.

 

When he isn’t working on many of the world’s most advanced transit systems, Konrad can be found teaching as an adjunct professor at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology or filing patent applications for his various inventions, including WPT, converters, converter controls, and motors.
